Energy device installation requires the installation of current transformer on each phase.
This current transformer will be clamped around each phase. There would be 2-types of CT rating depending upon its current carrying capacity and the diameter of wire that passes through it. 200 amps for 25mm diameter wire. 600 amps for 35mm diameter wire.
Installation of CTs.
Each CT has two wires. 1st wire is red and 2nd wire is blue. 1. Connect the red wire of CT from phase-1 with the + pin of input 1 on ThingTrax device. 2. Connect the blue wire of CT from phase-1 with the - pin of input 1 on ThingTrax device. 3. Follow the same steps for each phase.
