Requirements
A small Phillips screwdriver or a similar pointed tool (to press the small buttons).
Access to the device.
Steps to Reset the Device
Locate the Buttons
The device has two small buttons labeled:Reset
CFG (Configuration)
These are usually found on the front or side of the device housing.
Initiate the Reset Process
Using a small Phillips screwdriver:
Press the Reset button once — do not hold it down.
Then, press and hold the CFG button for at least 20 seconds.
Maintain consistent pressure throughout this duration.
Power Cycle the Device
After holding the CFG button:
Turn off the device completely.
Wait for 5–10 seconds.
Turn the device back on.
Outcome
After completing these steps, the device should:
Clear previous configurations.
Boot with default settings (if applicable).
Be ready for new configuration or normal operation.
Troubleshooting Tips
If the device does not respond after a reset:
Ensure buttons were pressed correctly.
Confirm power supply is stable.
Retry the procedure, ensuring the CFG button is held for the full 20 seconds.
